For those of you who have been interested in something like our link for the previous generation Tallboy but have a V5, here's what we've got for you... This link, as with our other links, has been designed to increase both progression and travel. Essentially leaning into "downcountry" as hard as possible. We've added a flip chip to the link this time around. The flip chip provides a "standard" 130mm setting with a modest increase in progression and an extra low and poppy setting for just playing around and having a good time. The extra low poppy setting has 122mm of travel, a touch more progression than the standard setting, and sits about 12mm lower. To be clear, this setting is intended for jibbing anything and everything or running the shortest cranks you can find if you plan on pedaling in this setting.

Specifications (130mm setting):

  • Fits V5 Tallboy frames (2022-current)
  • Travel: 130mm (with stock 190x45mm shock)
  • Progression increases to 26% from 20%
  • +5mm chainstay length
  • All other geometry the same as stock low setting
  • Sealed Enduro MAX bearings
  • 8mm x 30mm eyelet spacing
  • CNC’d out of 6061-T6 aluminum in the USA
  • Colors: Black, Silver

Specifications (120mm jib setting):

  • Intended for just having a good time
  • Travel: 122mm (with stock 190x45mm shock)
  • Progression increases to 28% from 20%
  • +5mm chainstay length
  • Extra low geo setting (-12mm BB height)
