Turbo Levo Long Shock, Gen 4 (2025-Current)

After our long shock kit for the previous generation of Turbo Levo exceeded even our own expectations, we knew we had to do a long shock set up for the gen 4 Turbo Levo. This link-yoke combo is the pinnacle of descending performance for the Levo. Like the previous generation, this long shock kit is designed around a 230x65 shock. With this shock size, it yields 170 mm of travel and bumps progression all the way up to 30% from 12% with the regular Levo or 13% with the Levo Evo. Between it being easier to get more damping force out of the 230x65 shock and the increased progression, this setup is able to handle much larger hits without having to compromise on small bump. In fact, the small bump sensitivity is significantly improved. If you are looking to get the most you can out of your rear suspension, this is the ultimate solution. Coil springs also function infinitely better with this setup compared to stock.

With the release of the Levo Evo, the question of how this compares has come up. Long story short, the leverage curves are dramatically different. We have always believed that what sets our linkages apart is the leverage curves they create as opposed to the amount of travel alone. The Levo Evo lacks the progression you would hope for with a long travel bike so, while it has 170 mm of travel, it does not compare when it comes to ability to balance bottom out resistance with small bump sensitivity or generate mid-stroke support.
